[00:15.00]Chuck learns a lot about himself when he is alone on the island.

[00:16.00]He realises that he hasn't been a very good friend

[00:17.00]because he has always been thinking about himself.

[00:18.00]During his five years on the island,Chuck learns how to be a good friend to Wilson.

[00:19.00]Even though Wilson is just a volleyball,he becomes fond of him.

[00:20.00]He talks to him and treats him as a friend.

[00:21.00]Chuck learns that we need friends to share happiness and sorrow 4,

[00:22.00]and that it is important to have someone to care about.

[00:23.00]He also learns that he should have cared more about his friends.

[00:24.00]When he makes friends with Wilson,

[00:25.00]he understands that friend ship is about feelings and that we must give as much as we take.

[00:26.00]A volleyball is certainly an unusual friend.

[00:27.00]Most of our friends are human beings,but we also make friends with animals and even things.

[00:28.00]For example,many of us have pets,

[00:29.00]and we all have favourite objects such as a lucky pen or a diary.
