One morning last April, Joan was 3 lying 4 in bed when the telephone rang. It washer friend, Dave, who invited 5 her out for a picnic at the seaside.
Later 6 that day she left her flat and walked to the bus stop to catch the bus.

Before long she arrived at the seaside and met Dave. They went down to thebeach and had 12 their picnic next to a rock. They had sandwiches and crisps 14, andDave painted a picture. They had a lovely day.
