A: Hi, Kim. I can’t believe 2 that the summer is almost 3 over.
B: I know. Time flies!
A: Friday is a holiday. Let’s take advantage 4 of the long weekend. Do you want to go to New York? We could 5 leave Thursday night and spend the whole 6 weekend in the city.
B: Okay 7. But I’d rather 8 go on Friday. I have to get my car fixed 9 on Thursday.
A: All right. We can take turns driving.
B: Fine. We won’t get so tired that way.
A: I’m looking forward 10 to seeing New York. I’ve never been there, but I have always wanted to go.
B: I haven’t either 11. Let’s make the most of our weekend.
A: We can go sightseeing 12 during 13 the day. In the evening we can go to a play. Do you think we can get tickets?
B: I don’t think we stand a chance 14. It’s hard to get tickets on weekends. Anyway 15, we can try.
A: It doesn’t matter. There are hundreds of things to do in New York, especially 16 during a holiday.
B: You’re right! Whatever 17 we do, we are sure to have good time.
A: Great! I can’t wait until 18 Friday!

A: 太好了!
