拉丁文中 bonus 为形容词,经过性别变化有 bona,bonum 形态,和英文的good意思相同,bene 为副词,有 well 的意思.bene,bon 也必须视为字根, 而一般字汇书多将视为字首,因为 bene,bon 通常出现在字首位置. 例如 boon 1 n. [恩惠],bounty n. [慷慨],bountiful a. [丰富的],皆由 bon 变音而成. 其中 bounty,bountiful 均拉丁文 bonitas (goodness,n.) 演变而来.
