《盲点》第二季出现了很多新面孔，新增的演员阵容包括雅奇·潘嘉比、卢克·米切尔和米歇尔·赫德。第一集将揭露神秘女主角的真实名字。播出时段将由晚10点改为晚8点。
一定程度上因为播出时间的改变，《盲点》第二季还有一个明显的改变：暴力情节减少。
“我们不会再开枪爆头，”《盲点》的执行制片人马丁·格罗在星期二于比弗利山庄举办的电视评论家协会奖上说。“我们还是会恢复一些暴力镜头…我们会引导这部剧走向更有趣光明的一面，这样它就不会那么暗黑阴郁了。”(然而不要以为它会变成一部轻喜剧——这毕竟还是《盲点》啊——第一集中会出现一些折磨拷打的镜头。)

格罗说这一季在解释第一季的诸多谜团诸如俄里翁是什么，谢培德是谁以及这个组织的计划什么的同时，也会引导一种现在比较流行的被政府不信任的感觉。谢培德，那个在一开始让神秘女主(杰米·亚历山大饰)潜入联调局的神秘组织的头目，在第一季季终时初次提及了他的名字，但从未在观众眼前现身过。
“如果第一季的内容是关于'神秘女主角到底是谁'，我们希望能解答这些问题，这样我们才能让剧情进一步推进。”格罗说。
因为出演《傲骨贤妻》而被观众熟知和喜爱的演员雅奇·潘嘉比，也会给那些想念她和已完结的《傲骨贤妻》的粉丝一些宽慰：她在《盲点》中的角色也穿着及膝的长筒靴。
《盲点》将于9月14日星期三8点在“孔雀台”台回归。
There's lots of new stuff coming to Blindspot in Season 2: the addition of new cast members including Archie?Panjabi, Luke?Mitchell and Michelle?Hurd; the revelation of Jane Doe's real first name in the first episode; a shift in air time from 10 p.m. to a 8 p.m. time slot.
Partly due to that time shift, there will be another noticeable difference in Season 2: less violence
"We're not going to shoot anyone in the head anymore," executive producer Martin Gero said at the Television Critics Association gathering 1 in Beverly Hills Tuesday. "We're toning back some of the violence...we're leaning into a sense of fun and lightness so it isn't all doom 2 and gloom." (Don't expect a soft comedy though -- this is till Blindspot after all -- there's torture in some of the first scenes.)
Gero said this season will also lean into a sense of government mistrust that's prevalent in culture now, while it explains Season 1 mysteries including what Orion is, who Shepherd is and what the plans of this organization are. Shepherd, the mysterious leader of the group that sent Jane (Jaimie?Alexander) to infiltrate 3 the FBI in the first place, was introduced by name in the Season?1?finale, but has never been seen by the audience.margin:0; margin-bottom:0.
"If the first season was about 'Who is Jane Doe', we want to answer those questions so we can move into the next phase," Gero said.
Panjabi, beloved from her work on The Good Wife, also gave some comfort to fans who'll miss her and the series: her Blindspot character wears knee-high boots too.
Blindspot returns Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 8/9c on NBC.
