chequing account/ A type of bank account that let you do the day to day or daily banking,so it's the normal bank account that you used to go shopping or used to pay your bills.
savings account/opposite to chequing account/A bank account where you save your money.Usually you don't touch the money in this account,usually it stays in there.
Usually banks will have these two rypes of accounts:chequing and savings.
transaction/A moving money around in your bank account.Taking your money from your bank account and putting into another account or just taking it to spend whatever.Or even putting money into your bank account.

balance/your "account balance" is "how much money you have".
My account balance is two dollars right now.
overdraft 4/this really comes in handy.
let's say in my bank account I have five hundred dollars,but I spend six hundred dollars,so I have an overdraft in my account meaning I owe the bank a hundred dollars.It also commonly refer to as a "negative balance".

debit card/Debit card is issued by the bank and used to take money out of an ATM.
Not to be confused with a credit card.

The first thing she said is "I'll get you to fill out this paperwork." I'll get you to...It's just a way of saying can you please fill this out,"do this" but in a different way.It's pretty polite.Then she also said "I'll need your social insurance number." I'll need your...A polite way of saying"give me your social insurance number." And the last thing she said,and this is really polite"If you could just sign here." If you could just... If you could just wait a moment,I'll be with you. If you just could send me an E-mail with your bank account number. Very polite way of asking for something.
An intereting thing here,not many countries use cheques,the cheque book or a cheque,it tends to be more of a American thing, don't you think? I think it is. It's basically of a piece of paper that you just sign your name and you write the amount of money, and you sign your name,and you give that to the person, that person can talk it to the bank and get money and exchange for it.It's not very common in other countries,every sigle American has a cheque book and uses it pretty regularly,for example you pay your phone bill or electric bill use, put a cheque in the mailbox and it's done. Also sometimes in other countries,people's salaries are pay through cheques.Pay cheque.But here in China it's not very common.
