And you have seen that your community has become even stronger

even more vibrant because of these men and women

because they are part of this community

So graduates, think about how this will apply to your own lives in the future
毕业生们 想想这会如何应用到你们未来的生活中
As you move on
随着不断前进
you're gonna come across all kinds of people
你们会碰到各式各样的人
from all different places and faiths and walks of life
来自不同地方 具有不同信仰 来自社会各界
And you can choose to pass them by without a word
你可以选择静静从他们身边走过
Or you can choose to reach out to them
你也可以选择把手伸向他们
no matter who they are or where they come from or what ideas they might have
不管他们是谁 他们来自哪里 他们有怎样的观念
That's what's always made this country great
这才是让这个国家伟大的原因
embracing the diversity of experience and opinion that surrounds us
包容身边一切经历和见解的差异
everywhere we go
不管到什么地方
So I encourage you all, seek it out
所以我鼓励你们 努力去探寻
Don't just spend time with people your own age
不要只和同龄人待在一起
Go to the local senior centers
到地方老年中心去
and talk with folks who have a little life experience under their belts
同那些经历丰富的老者交谈
You would be amazed at the wisdom they have to offer

Try visiting a different congregation every once in a while
