The federal government is resisting calls to hold a royal commission into the defense 11 forces' abuse. Four Corners last night uncovered cases of sexual abuase. The alleged 12 perpetrators are still working for defense. Former senior legal officer with Australian Defense Force C. Ward 13 says a royal commission may be the only way to uncover the fully 14 extended abuse, but Defense Minister David Johnson says most victims don't support that action.
