If you offer numbers and statistics 1 make them meaningful.

We have sold four million iPhones to date.

One of the most effective elements of a Steve Jobs presentation is that they are easy on the eyes.

His presentations are visual and simple.

While most speakers fill their slides with mind-numbing data and text and charts, Jobs does just the opposite.

1 statistics

- Statistics is taught in many colleges.许多大学都教授统计学。
2 context
n.背景，环境，上下文，语境
- You can always tell the meaning of a word from its context.你常可以从上下文中猜出词义来。
- This sentence does not seem to connect with the context.这个句子似乎与上下文脱节。
3 overwhelming
adj.势不可挡的，压倒的，无法抵抗的
- The flood was overwhelming and the city was soon drowned.洪水来势凶猛，很快这个城市就被淹没了。
- The act was adopted by an overwhelming majority.该法案以压倒多数通过。
