实战口语情景对话 第381期:Dinner Plans 晚餐计划

 Todd: OK, Simon, let's go get something to eat? Let's go out to dinner. I'm really hungry. 

托德：西蒙，我们去吃点东西吧？我们出去吃晚餐吧。我现在非常饿。
 
Simon: Yeah, OK, me too. I'm really hungry as well. Ah, what is there to eat around here? 
西蒙：好啊，我也饿了。我也非常饿。这附近有什么吃的啊？
 
Todd: Well, around my house there's a few restaurants. Um, there's an Italian restaurant. There's a grilled 1 chicken restaurant. There is a fish restaurant, and there is a family diner. 
托德：嗯，我家附近有一些餐厅。有意大利餐厅，烤鸡店，鱼餐厅还有家庭式餐馆。
 
Simon: Family diner. What's that? 
西蒙：家庭式餐馆，那是什么？
 
Todd: The family diner is one of those restaurants that they serve many types of food, for example they have noodles, they have pasta 2, they have hamburger, they have salad. Pretty much anyone in the family could order what they want. They have desserts, things like that. 
托德：家庭式餐馆就是指那些供应多种食物的餐厅，比如他们有面条、意大利面、汉堡和沙拉。家里的所有人都可以点他们各自喜欢的食物。这些餐厅还供应甜点。
 
Simon: Well, that makes sense 3, that's why it's called a family diner, or family restaurant because I guess everyone in the family will be happy if they eat there. You said Italian restaurant. 
西蒙：哦，这就可以理解了，这就是为什么称之为家庭式餐馆了，我想是因为如果在那里吃饭，家里的所有人都会很开心。你刚才说有意大利餐厅。
 
Todd: Ah, yeah, there's an Italian restaurant. It's a very small family owned Italian restaurant. They have really good pasta,fresh salad. They always have really good specials. The only problem is that it's really crowded and it's a little expensive because it's very popular. 
托德：对，附近有家意大利餐厅。是一家小型的家族餐厅。那家餐厅的意大利面和新鲜沙拉非常好吃。而且有特色菜。唯一的问题是餐厅非常拥挤，而且有点贵，原因是因为那家餐厅太受欢迎了。
 
Simon: Oh, really. Ah, do they have pizza? I like pizza. 
西蒙：哦，真的吗。那家餐厅有批萨吗？我喜欢吃批萨。
 
Todd: Actually, they don't have pizza. They only have pasta. 
托德：实际上，餐厅不供应批萨。他们只有意大利面。
 
Simon: OK. What were the other choices? 
西蒙：好吧。那还有其他选择吗？
 
Todd: There's also a fish restaurant and there's a grilled chicken restaurant. A grilled chicken. That's pretty general. 
托德：还有一家鱼餐厅和烤鸡店。烤鸡，这非常普遍。
 
Simon: How do they serve that? 
西蒙：他们怎么供应？
 
Todd: It's actually, it's not a restaurant. This guy has a small stand, a very small area, and there are some small tables in front of it, and he just grills 4 chicken, kind of on the street, and then he has little tables in front of his booth 5 or stall 6 and you eat chicken for really cheap. 
托德：实际上那并不是一家餐厅。实际上是一个小的食品摊，一个非常小的区域，前面有些小桌子，摊主只卖烤鸡，就是在街上的那种食品摊，食品摊前面摆了几张小桌子，顾客可以在那里吃烤鸡，非常便宜。
 
Simon: Oh, that sounds really cool. Let's do that. 
西蒙：哦，那听起来很酷。我们去吃吧。
 
Todd: Yeah, yeah, and they have beer, too. 
托德：好啊，好的，那里也有啤酒。
 
Simon: Oh, yeah, I like beer. 
西蒙：哦，真好，我喜欢啤酒。
 
Todd: Cool, let's go. 
托德：太棒了，咱们走吧。
 
Simon: OK.
