This is AP News Minute. 1. Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel called a special city council meeting this morning to address the crisis in the city’s police department. He’s trying to restore trust and confidence in police after an officer was charged with murder for fatally shooting 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. 2. The House of Representatives has voted overwhelmingly to tighten 1 controls on travel to the US for anyone who’s been to Iraq or Syria in the past five years. Citizens of those countries would need a visa when coming to the US. 3. Dozens of people including at least 80 Boston college students got sick after eating at a chipotle restaurant over the weekend. Boston health officials say some of those who got sick have the norovirus. 4. And Russia’s defense 2 ministry 3 released video that it says showed submarines in the Mediterranean 4 launching new cruise missiles at militants 5 in Syria.
