1. Crews in the Gulf 1 Coast are getting into place a massive steel-and-concrete box they hope will contain the massive oil leak, but have to lower the contraption about a mile into the water. If successful, it could collect as much as 85% of what's leaking out.
2. Stocks went on a wild ride this afternoon. The shaky situation in Greece helped trigger a sell-off that sent the Dow down almost 1,000 points. It recovered some of that before the closing bell.
3. The U.K. may have a new Prime Minister shortly. Voters there have been going to the polls Thursday in the country's general election. The Labor 2 Party is currently in control, but Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats 3 are expected to do very well.
4. Hall of Fame pitcher 4 Robin 5 Roberts has died. The right-handed pitcher won 286 games in his career, and helped the Philadelphia Phillies win the pennant 6 in 1950. He was 83 years old.
