much too用来修饰形容词、副词，表示程度。too much的含义是“太多，过分，对付不了”，它可以单独使用，还可以修饰不可数名词，常用于肯定句中。
1)The journey will be too much for an old man.
这个旅程老人吃不消。
2)I'm afraid I've put you to too much trouble.
恐怕我给你带来了太多的麻烦。
3)The jacket is much too expensive;the price is 1，000，000 dollars.
这件夹克太贵了，价格是一百万美元。
