巴黎公布2024年申奥标志

 PARIS, Feb. 9 （Xinhua） -- French capital Paris unveiled the logo for its bid to host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games at the Arc de Triomphe at 20:24 local time on Tuesday.

新华社巴黎2月9日电——当地时间9日（星期二）晚20：24分，在标志性建筑凯旋门前，法国首都巴黎公布了申办2024年奥运会及残奥会的标志图案。
The emblem 1, featuring colored stripes forming the number 24, was claimed to be designed from a modern interpretation 2 of the city’s iconic symbol Eiffel Tower. It was produced by Paris-based independent design agency Dragon Rouge 3 and came out through a tender procedure.
这个标志，由彩色线条构成的阿拉伯数字24，被称作是巴黎的标志性建筑“埃菲尔铁塔”的摩登诠释。这一标志出自巴黎的独立设计事务所“红龙”之手，从竞标中脱颖而出。
During a launching ceremony having projected the logo onto Paris’ another landmark 4 Arc de Triomphe, the bidding campaign’s leader Bernard Lapasset, also chairman of World Rugby, said it represented the capital’s "history, dynamism and ambition".
在启用仪式上，这一申奥标志被投影到巴黎的另一个地标性建筑——凯旋门的墙体上。身为巴黎奥申委主席兼国际橄榄球理事会主席的拉帕谢表示，这一标志的视觉呈现代表了巴黎这座城市的“历史、活力和申办奥运的雄心”。
“The logo is a modern interpretation of Paris’ most iconic symbol, the Eiffel Tower, that reflects the city’s rich and beautiful history whilst also conveying the positive sense of optimism, drive and ambition of this vibrant 5 metropolis," read a statement by the Paris 2024.
巴黎2024申奥声明中说，“这个标志是对巴黎最具代表性的建筑——埃菲尔铁塔的摩登诠释。它反映了这个城市的丰富的内涵和美好的历史，同时也传达了乐观、上进的积极精神和这座充满活力的大都市的申奥雄心。”
Also attended the ceremony were co-chairman Tony Estanguet, a member of the International Olympic Committee （IOC） Athletes’ Commission and triple times canoeing Olympic champion, as well as Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.
和拉帕谢一起出席申奥标志启用仪式的还有巴黎奥申委的另一位联席主席、国际奥委会运动员委员会委员、三度皮划艇奥运冠军埃斯坦盖，以及巴黎市长伊达尔戈。
"The new bid logo showcases the beauty and elegance 6 of Paris while highlighting its status as a modern, dynamic and cosmopolitan 7 global hub, a creative and inspiring center that is constantly evolving and reinventing itself," said the female mayor.
女市长伊达尔戈在仪式上说，“新的申办标志彰显了巴黎这座城市的美丽与优雅，同时突出了它作为一个国际大都会的摩登与动感，以及作为创意与灵感中心的与时俱进。”
Paris, seeking to host the Olympics on the 100-year anniversary of it second time holding the Games, is competing against Budapest, Rome and Los Angeles.
巴黎这次如果申奥成功，2024年将是巴黎时隔百年后再次迎来奥运盛事。本次申奥的城市还有匈牙利的布达佩斯，意大利罗马和美国洛杉矶。
The French capital could join London to become the second city to host the Olympics three times after having hosted the grand events in 1900 and 1924.
这座法国都会也将成为继伦敦之后仅有的第二座三次承办奥运会的城市，它前两次分别是在1900年和1924年。
Earlier on Tuesday, the Paris bid committee also announced to have signed up sponsorships with four companies, giving their bid a budget boost around eight million euros.

The candidate cities are now expected to finalize 8 their candidature files to the IOC by the handover ultimate date on February 17. And the IOC will vote for the host city in September 2017 at its Session in Lima, Peru.
各申办城市最迟将于本月17日向国际奥委会递交申办文件，而国际奥委会将在2017年秘鲁的利马全会上投票决定承办权归属。
