文中的infomania就是“资讯癖”的意思，这个新词是由info（信息）和后缀-mania（狂躁，热衷，狂爱）构成的，英语里包含后缀-mania的单词还有：logomania（多言狂）、bibliomania（集书狂，藏书癖）、hydromania（投水狂，自溺狂）。
