Washington DC has celebrated 1 the Chinese New Year with a parade, Chinese Dragon Dances, live musical performances, and much more, as more than 300 business leaders and cultural community representatives attended a "China Culture night" co- hosted by the Chinese Embassy in the US and the Meridian 2 International Center.
Proceedings 3 offered a mixture of Chinese traditional cultural activities, including writing-brush painting and paper cutting. The most popular attraction was " Shadow play", a folk art form from northwest China's Shaanxi province.
