The Camel and the Fly
A fly,chancing to sit on the back of a camel,who was trekking 1 along weighed down with heavy burdens,was quite delighted with himself,as he appeared to be so much higher.After they had made along journey,they entered a stable in the evening together.The fly immediately exclaimed,skipping lightly to the ground,“See,I have got down directly,so that I may not weary you any longer,so galled 2 as you are.”
The camel replied,“I thank you;but neither did I find myself op-pressed by your weight,when you were on me nor do I feel myself lightened at all now you have dismounted.”
