Ernst & Young, one of the big four accounting 1 firms, and a top 50 ideal employer says when it comes to employees, it has a people-first philosophy.
Larry Nash, the recruiting director of branding and communication, says the work-life balance focus on putting people first, and here's the E&Y's values of inclusiveness, commitments and flexibility 2 , and continuous learning, values the company introduces to every employee.
We get to know students at sophomores 3, in their junior year, there are some number of events we'll have, we'll hold whether he's participating in career affairs, presentations to different student groups, social events. So we really get to know those who are interested come to these events, and it's a way for us to get to know them, they'd get to know us. And we start to see what a person is really like.
Based in New York City, Ernst&Young has over 100, 000 employees in 140 countries who specialize in assurance, tax and advisory 4 services. Recruiters planned to fill close to 3500 jobs this year, and say about 1800 of those new employees will be former interns 5.
Who is a very interesting to seize, such a, we have incredible diversity here, and many of the teams I've been on there's been people from different countries and there was something that I can relate to coming from Dominican Republic to and as an undergrad in college. And my most recent engagement, we had someone straight from Hungary who had just come here and, even though we are very different, and have incredibly different of backgrounds. We kind of seem to be like we get along well and work well as a team.
To land a career like Miguel's, E&Y's recruiters say they like to see resumes with no grammatical or chronological 6 errors, and to stay away from overly dramatic stories during the interview process. The recruiters' best advise is to be yourself, and to research the company thoroughly 7 before the interview.
