Chinese President Xi Jinping and Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott have exchanged congratulations on the signing of a bilateral Free Trade Agreement. They hailed it as a paradigm of regional economic integration.
Xi Jinping said in his message that the FTA is be a platform for even more cooperation between countries. And it will set an example for economic and trade development in the Asia-Pacific.
Abbot called the FTA a fresh start for Australia-China relations, and both countries should reap the benefits.
