12 people have so far been rescued as search efforts continue after a passenger ship sank late on Monday night on a section of the Yangtze River in central China's Hubei Province.
And this 85-year-old woman was among them. A CCTV cameraman captured 1 the moment that she was brought back to shore at about 1pm this afternoon. Local hospital said the 85-year-old is now in a stable condition but further treatment is required.
Right now, huge rescue efforts are still underway. Local officials say more than 2-thousand rescuers and 65-search vessels 2 are now in Hubei Province, trying to reach more survivors 3 still trapped inside the boat.
