The Crow and the Jug

A big，black crow wanted to drink some water．She saw a big jug 1 with some water at the bottom，but she could not reach the water．“I know，”she said，“I shall put some stones into the jug．Then the water will come up to the mouth．”
After the first stone was put in，the water rose a little．Then she put in another stone，and the water rose more．She put more and more stones in until the water came up to the mouth of the jug．Then she had a good drink．Exercises：
