   托福听说抓分秘笈:重视发音思路和表达


  “要提高托福[微博]口语表达能力,关键是注意笔记、发音、思路和表达。” 3月23日,在新航道托福盛典现场,有多年托福教学经验的老师现场指导考生如何提高托福的听说能力。
  曾从事同声传译工作的老师钟会芝,将同传中常用的速记符号运用到英语教学中。她现场为考生介绍了10种速记符号,建议考生在记笔记时多用汉字和符号,少用单词,不用句子;平常练听力时,要养成随时记笔记的习惯,仅靠记忆力是不够的。考生可用简洁的符号记下重要考点。
  托福口试主讲老师常远说,很多考生的口试成绩上不去,多跟发音部位不对有关。考生发音部位靠前,使得声音较轻,同时造成需要重读的音表现不明显,考官听不清,自然会影响成绩。考生要注意发音的方式方法,用一句话总结,即元音饱满、尾音下沉。考生发音要重且清晰,语言表现力要足,也就是常说的说话“有气场”,声音尽量提高。
  考生参加口试时,当被问到“最近有什么想法或计划”时,可能一时不知如何说起,无法展开。对此,常远建议,考生要抓住核心词,从一点展开思路。自问自答不失为一种好的方法,如考生被问到为什么要出国,可以说为了开扩眼界,接触不同的人文环境,提高人际交往能力,而这些能力对以后找工作有很大帮助。沿着这样的思路回答,既有主题,答案也很丰富。
  在活动现场,当考生被问到一个口试问题时,很多人的回答以“我”来开头,显得主语单调,句型简单。相关老师提醒,这样的句型不会得高分,也是考生口试失分的另一个原因。这提醒考生,在答题时要注意核心词的使用,注意句型变化。
