跨太平洋伙伴关系协定
“跨太平洋伙伴关系协议”用英文Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement（TPP）表示，也被称作“经济北约”，是由新西兰、新加坡、智利和文莱四国发起，从2002年开始酝酿的一组多边关系的自由贸易协定（free trade pact），旨在促进亚太地区的贸易自由化（trade liberalization）。美国、澳大利亚、秘鲁、越南、日本等国在此后几年陆续加入。
TPP参与国总计为12个，加起来占全球经济的比重达到40%（encompass 40 percent of the world economy），超过欧盟。TPP协定包含大量法律条款（legal provisions），包括投资、服务、电子商务（electronic commerce）、政府采购（government procurement）、知识产权（intellectual property）、劳工、环境等30个章节，其中农产品市场准入（market access to agricultural products）、汽车业原产地规则（the country-of-origin rule in auto 4 manufacturing industry）、制药业知识产权保护（intellectual property protection in pharmaceutical 5 industry ）是此前多轮谈判的主要焦点。经过激烈博弈，各方最终达成妥协，成功结束TPP谈判。依据协定，相关国家间约1.8万种商品的关税将在未来一段时间内逐步减少或完全取消。
追求“全覆盖”（“full coverage”）和“高标准”（“high standard”）是TPP显著特征。TPP覆盖领域之广远超一般的自贸协定。
