Hoppy the Kangaroo
Hoppy 1 the little kangaroo was out for a walk with his mother．“Mummy，I'm cold，”he said suddenly．“Then you must jump into my pouch 2 at once，”said his mother．“Where is Hoppy？”asked everyone when they got back home．“He felt cold．He's gone inside my pouch to get warm．”answered his mother．“Cold？”cried everyone，“On a fine，sunny day like this？
Hoppy's mother hadn't thought of that She said to herself，“Yes，I think I must take him to see the doctor tomorrow．”
The next day，Hoppy was taken to see the doctor．“Open your mouth，say‘nine，nine．’Let me have a look at your tongue，”said the doctor．“Now breathe in，out，in，out．”And the doctor examined Hoppy all over．“Your son is in good health．All he needs is a lot more exercise in the fresh air．”said the doctor．“What should I do，then？”asked Hoppy's mother．“You must take him out for long walks in the country．One day he'll grow up into a fine，big and strong kangaroo！”said the doctor．And ever since that day，Hoppy has never felt cold．Exercises：
