Oh here with Edward Norton, one of the stars at outstanding new movie Birdman. Norton as a pitch perfect take and a very good theater actor that takes himself very seriously. Watch his first rehearsal 1 as the director and Birdman played by Michael Keaton.

“I don't even know the guy, okay, what's your point?”

“What's my point?”

“Yeah, what's your point? What you say? Spit it out. You are saying what? What you are saying? You are saying love is absolute 2.”

“Yes, yes, the kind of love that I'm talking about, it is absolute. The kind of love that I'm talking about you don't -- you don't try to kill people.”

“Yeah. good.”

How do you do? Edward Norton is here right now. And I love your character and the way you play it in this movie. He is the most actory actor out there.

Yeah, he’s, he takes it maybe a little too seriously.

But he’s so good and it looks like you all had so much fun sending up the whole atmosphere, I mean, everything about Broadway.

It's a, you know, there are certain movies if you're an actor or a fan of films, so things are like that when you, you know, "Tootsy" or "Network," or kind of movies that peak behind the skin of those cultural, you know, forms that we're all fans of. And sometimes those -- those are just very special. And as soon as I read this, I knew it was a very special film.

And you could tell everyone clicking with each other and with the director.

It was -- it was really like -- I said to someone earlier, it was -- it was -- when you get into making movies, when you see the type of those movies of your youth that make you want to make movies. This was one of those experiences. It was -- it was everything -- it was everything you get into the trade of film for because it was just -- it's wildly, wildly inventive, like it's one of those films I can say for sure you’ve never seen this film. It's an incredibly original experience, just the whole experience I’ve seen.

I couldn't agree with you more. We’ve all seen it and we’ve all loved it and we talked with the whole cast, and you guys were all so brilliant. And I wish we had a lot more time, but we don't. But Edward Norton, thanks very much.
