　　季雅纪美也这样做。
　　Then Khakimé's father stepped forward, and holding up a feathered prayer stick, made a long prayer, then threw the stick after the corn meal.
　　然后季雅纪美的父亲也走上前来，举起一根带羽翎的祈祷杖，做了一个很长的祈祷，然后把那祈祷杖也随着玉米面扔了出去。
　　"It is finished," said old Mitsima in a loud voice. "They are married."
　　礼成，”米季马大声说，“他们俩结婚了。”
　　"Well," said Linda, as they turned away, "all I can say is, it does seem a lot of fuss to make about so little. "
　　“礼成了，”人们转过身来，琳妲说，“我能够说的只有一句话：这的确好像是小题大做。”

　　太阳落了山，月亮升了起来。他跟别人去了。
　　Men were standing 4, dark, at the entrance to the kiva; the ladder went down into the red lighted depths.
　　几个男人的黑影站在圣窟门口，梯子往下伸到了红灯照着的深处。
　　Already the leading boys had begun to climb down.
　　带头的几个男孩已经开始往下爬。
　　Suddenly, one of the men stepped forward, caught him by the arm, and pulled him out of the ranks.
　　一个男人突然走了出来，抓住了胳臂把他拖出了行列。

　　他挣脱之后又回到行列里去。
　　This time the man struck him, pulled his hair.
　　这一回那人摸了他，扯了他的头发。
　　"Not for you, white-hair!" "Not for the son of the she-dog," said one of the other men.
　　“你没有资格，白毛！”“那母狗下的崽没有资格！”有个人说，
　　The boys laughed. "Go!"
　　男孩子们笑了。“滚！”
　　And as he still hovered 6 on the fringes of the group, "Go!" the men shouted again.
　　因为他仍在人群边逗留，不肯离开，人们又叫了起来。
