  一.积累素材
  巧妇难为无米之炊,很多考生之所以浪费了大量的答题时间的原因是缺乏素材,在短暂的准备时间中,没有办法阻止出完整的答案。因此考生在备考的过程中一定要重视素材的积累,前程百利小编认为,在备考的过程中,考生应该从以下两个方面入手。

  第二,日常生活。托福口语考试的主要目的是查看考生是否具有在北美的大学中学习和生活的能力,所以这也就注定了托福口语考试中是不会出现一些十分偏门的题目比如大楼的建造过程,微生物的构成等等,它的出题的题目往往都是和日常生活息息相关的,所以考生如果在考试的时候一时间想不起来合适的素材,就可以和自己的实际生活进行联系。
  比如在TPO7task1 If friends from another country were going to spend time in your country, what city or place would you suggest they visit?中,考生就可以从身边的例子举例,比如自己这个地方的比较有名的小吃Beijing Duck,Chinese Dumplings或者是这个城市中一些比较有名的建筑等等。
  二.合理安排时间
  在完成素材的积累之后,考生还应该根据不同的题目的答题重点,合理的安排答题时间。比如在托福口语task1中考生的答题时间是六十秒,而在这个题目中,考生回答问题的重点在论证上,那么考生在备考的时间就应该用5秒左右的时间说完总论点之后,然后用40秒左右的时间论述两个分论点。而在task5中,考生答题时间是60秒,但是这部分题目的答题重点在考生自己的选择上,所以考生在安排时间的时候,就应该重点把大部分的时间放在personal choice上。
  比如考生在回答TPO5TASK5的时候,就应该用30秒的时间来描述自己的选择即I think the first is better, because that way she won’t let the other group members down and the doctor said her wrist should be feeling better by then. Also, she says in the conversation that Jim is not reliable. If he’s always late for the rehearsals 1, that’ll compromise 2 the whole performance. And that’s unfair to the other group members who have been practicing for weeks.
