I know many of you were convinced the last night about six o' clock local time, the world was going to come to an end, just because it hasn't does not mean that is not nearby, because my appearing today at Yale University is surely one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. But listen, today is your day!
我猜很多人一定曾经相信，昨天（五月二十一日）晚上，当地时间六点钟，就将是世界末日了。就算没有应验，但并不意味着世界末日就远离你们了。因为我今天竟然在耶鲁现身，简直就像在末日前夕，来了个“天启四骑士”，不晓得要带来什么祸害！但是听我说，今天是你们的日子！
Please do not turn off your electronic devices. Leave your iPhones, your iPads, your Sidekicks, your Andoids, your Blackberrys powered up-recording, photographing, texting out all that emerges from this stage over the next few minutes.
我拜托大家，千万不要把手上的电子装置关掉。请把你们的苹果手机、平板电脑、侧滑手机、安卓手机和黑莓机，通通都打开，也欢迎把台上随后发生的事情录音、拍照、传简讯。

结束；

2. turn off
关上；关掉；
eg. The light's a bit too harsh. You can turn it off.
灯光有点太刺眼了。你可以把灯关掉。
eg. I have to get up and turn off the radio.
我必须起床关上收音机。
3. go down
引起…反响；得到…回应；
eg. Solicitors 2 advised their clients that a tidy look went down well with the magistrates 3.
律师告诫当事人穿戴整洁会赢得地方法官的好感。
eg. It will go down as the week that shook wall street.
这将会被视为震撼华尔街的一周。
