1. train这里做动词，表示培养，训练；我们说的培训中心英文就是 training center。
eg:The firm trained its employees to be more efficient.
公司培训员工,使他们办事效率更高。
eg:She was trained for nursing.
她被培养成护士。
2. outstrip，超过，胜过。
eg:His newspaper outstripped 1 its rivals in circulation.
他的报纸在发行量上超过了他的对手。
3. supply,在段中做名词，表示供应，提供。 supply and demand,供求。
段中说到 The demand is outstripping 2 the supply.意思是需求大于供应，也就是供不应求。 供不应求也可用下面这句话来表示。
eg:The supply is unable to meet the demand.
供不应求。
v.做得比…更好，（在赛跑等中）超过( outstrip的过去式和过去分词 )
