1. traditional medicine，传统医学，这里指中医。
eg:They reminded me that traditional medicine is an important component 1 that needs to be addressed.
他们提醒我说，传统医学是必须得到解决的一个重要组成部分。
2. western medicine,西医，西药。
eg:The two systems of traditional and Western medicine need not clash.
传统医学与西方医学这两套体系并不冲突。
3. form表示样式，形式； in the form of...表示以...的形式。
eg:This article is written in the form of the case study.
本文以案例形式编写。
4. pill，药丸，药片。 in the form of pills表示以药丸或药片的形式。
eg:He has to take sleeping pills every night.
他每天夜里都得服安眠药。
5. compound，混合物，化合物。 chemical compound，化合物。
eg:What our compound does in allow more of them to survive.
我们的化合物作用就是让更多的神经元存活下来。
6. molecule 2,分子（组成物质的小微粒）。 这是个可数名字，a molecule，一个分子。
eg:Because the molecule must be in one of the states.
因为分子必须处于某个状态上。
7. in nature,在本质上。nature是个名词，有自然的意思，在这里表示性质,本质。
eg:The two are different in nature.
两者在本质上有区别。

- Blade and handle are the component parts of a knife.刀身和刀柄是一把刀的组成部分。
