1. Police in Los Angeles say the man who rushed Brad Pitt on the red carpet Wednesday night is a Ukraine Journalist with a history of getting too close to celebrities 1. The suspect, 25-year-old, Vitalii Sediuk was jailed on suspicion of misdemeanour battery and held in lieu of 20,000 dollars bail 2. Court records show he is on probation 3 until June 2016 for an incident last year where he grabbed a mic at the Grammys before Adele could accept her award.
2. This latest incident occurred at the Hollywood premiere of Angelina Jolie’s new movie “Maleficent”. Witnesses saw the man jumped over a barrier and approached Pitt, making contact with the star before security guards pushed him back. Pitt did not appear hurt and resume signing autography before heading into the theatre.
3. Earlier this month, the same suspect was dragged away from the Cannes Film Festival after crawling under the dress of actress America Ferrara. Past stunts 4 also include attempting to kiss Will Smith at a red carpet event in Moscow, Smith slapped him away, watching Bradley Cooper’s leg before the Screen Actors Guild 5 Awards, and trying the same with Leonardo DiCaprio at the Santa Barbara Film Festival. Sediuk’s publicist says she has cut ties with him over the Brad Pitt incident.
