2. A shooting on the Southern California free way has left one person dead and another injured. Westbound lanes on State Route 91 Orange County are closed. And authorities say the shots may have come from other vehicles.
3. Police in Utah, say an Army National Guard made shooting and killed two people before taking his own life. Authorities say 23-year-old Jared Tolman then went to a second apartment, did not find someone he was looking for, and killed himself.
4. Germany’s World Cup winning soccer team has returned home from Brazil after beating Argentina 1:0 in Sunday’s final. The team landed at Berlin’s international airport. But not before their plane flew over thousands of cheering fans.
