1.“司法改革”白皮书

10月9日上午，国务院新闻办公室发表《中国的司法改革》白皮书。这是中国政府首次就司法改革问题发布白皮书。
Apart from reviewing China's judicial system and reform process, the white paper focuses on maintaining social fairness, justice and human rights protection.
除了回顾中国的司法体系和改革进程之外，白皮书主要强调维护社会公平正义和保护人权。
White paper就是“白皮书”，是政府、议会等公开发表的有关政治、经济、外交等重大问题的文件。“司法改革白皮书”就是white paper on judicial reform。
司法改革白皮书包括维护社会公平正义(maintaining social fairness, justice)、优化司法职权配置(optimizing the structure of the judicial organs and allocation of their functions and power)、加强人权保障(improving the protection of human rights)、提高司法能力(strengthening judicial organs' capability 2 in maintaining social justice)等内容。
