A federal judge has barred the Trump 1 administration from refusing to grant asylum 2 to immigrants if they cross the southern border illegally. The administration issued the ban in response to the Central American migrant caravan 3.
A shooting at a Chicago hospital left an emergency room doctor, a second employee, a police officer and the suspect dead. Authorities say the suspect was in a domestic relationship with the doctor and killed her after an argument.
One person was killed and four wounded in the shooting in downtown Denver. Police say they don't know how many suspects may have been involved or what started the violence.
The Washington Post reports that Ivanka Trump used her personal e-mail account to send hundreds of messages about government business last year. A spokesman for Ivanka Trump's lawyer did not dispute the report but said the emails mostly involves scheduling and logistics.
