John Rzeznik（Goo Goo Dolls主唱）所谱写演唱的《Iris》（希腊文，虹彩）一曲，不仅为他们赢得1999年第41届葛莱美音乐奖年度唱片最佳流行演唱团体年度歌曲等三项 大奖提名，将Goo GooDolls的乐坛声望与作品销售数字提携至顶端外，《Iris》一曲的制作人Rob Cavallo更以此获得年度最佳制作大奖。Goo Goo Dolls这才开始在乐坛树立了自己的地位，也找到了适合自己的POPROCK〔流行摇滚〕风格。
《Iris》堪称流行摇滚音乐作品中十年一遇的好音乐，音乐起始清脆急促的吉他SOLO，JohnRzeznik饱含沧桑的低沉嗓音对世事对爱情满腹的疑问，而曲至中段突然的高昂爆发似乎疑问已经转为了真挚的誓言，“即便万物毁灭，我也只要你知道我是 谁！”旋律的优美和主唱声线的粗犷形成了鲜明对比，而正因如此，此首音乐脱离了甜腻情歌的范畴，成了百听不厌的超级经典。
Avril Lavigne最喜欢这首Iris，连结婚的时候跳舞放的都是Iris。Avril曾邀请John Rzeznik和她一起在她的日本演唱会上共同演唱Iris。Ronan Keating（Boyzone主唱）也曾翻唱过Iris。相比John Rzeznik，Ronan Keating的高音显得那么单薄，而John Rzeznik则是越高越激昂，越有磁性。
1985年主唱兼吉他手John Rzeznik与玩重金属乐的表哥Robby Takac找来前鼓手George Tutuska，于美国纽约州水牛城组成了三人摇滚团体Goo Goo Dolls。成军15年以来发行过6张专辑。谱写演唱的「Iris」 一曲，不仅为他们赢得1999年第41届葛莱美音乐奖\"年度唱片\"\"最佳流行演唱团体\"\"年度歌曲\"等三项大奖提名，将Goo Goo Dolls的乐坛声望与作品销售数字提携至顶端外，「Iris」一曲的制作人也是\"Dizzy Up The Girl\"此专辑的制作Rob Cavallo更以此获得\"年度最佳制作\"大奖。
《天使之城》是一部经典爱情片，尼古拉斯凯奇和梅格瑞恩都是我喜欢的演员，演的真的很好~~哈哈哈！不过这首歌是我在查自己英文名的时候查出来的...
组合的主唱John Rzeznik也是个才子了,长得很GC动漫的感觉,声音沧桑又让人有踏实感,是感情失意时最想听到的声音.MV挺好看的,大家去看看啊~
