california dreaming是美国60年代著名的嬉皮士乐队THE BABAS AND MAMAS（爸爸妈妈）1965年的作品，中文译名“加洲梦”。影片〈阿甘正传〉在表现六十年代美国民潮运动时也采用了这首曲子。当然，我们更熟悉的就是1994年〈重庆森林〉中快餐店员王菲摇头晃脑的随California dreaming来回摆动的场景。王家卫在此片中一共播放了13遍California dreaming，并在结尾让阿菲踏上了飞往加洲的班机，而663坐在“加洲酒吧”里对着克罗娜喃喃自语的说着 “那晚我们大家都在加洲，我们之间相差15个小时。现在她那边是早上12点，不知道今晚8点她会不会约我”。一年后空姐打扮的阿菲回到了快餐店前，却惊喜的发现了已接手快餐店的663，而新店名就叫 “加洲”。
