Wealth,Success&Love

A woman came out of her house and saw three old men

with long white beards sitting in her front yard.

She did not recognize them.

She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry.

Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.

"No", she replied. "He's out."

"Then we cannot come in", they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home,

she told him what had happened.

"Go tell them I am home and invite them in!"

The woman went out and invited the men in.

"We do not go into a house together," they replied.

"Why is that?" she asked.

One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth,"

he said pointing to one of his friends,

and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love."

Then he added 1, "Now go in and discuss with your husband

which one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said.

Her husband was overjoyed.

"How nice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth.

Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"

His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?"

Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house.

She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love?

Our home will then be filled with love!"

"Let us heed 2 our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife.

"Go out and invite Love to be our guest."

The woman went out and asked the three old men,

"Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest."

Love got up and started walking toward 3 the house.

The other two also got up and followed him.

Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success:

"I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"

The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success,

the other two of us would've stayed out,

but you invited Love, and wherever he goes, we go also.

Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!"

一个妇人出门看到3位白须飘然的老者坐在她家前院。妇人与他们素不相识。

她上前同他们打招呼：“你们一定饿了，进屋吃点东西吧?”

“你们家男主人在吗?”老人们问。

妇人回答： “他出去了。”

“他不在，我们就不进去。”老人们回答。

晚上，丈夫回家了，妇人将遇到的事告诉了他。

“快去告诉他们我回来了，请他们进来!”

于是妇人出去邀老人们进屋。

“我们不能一同进屋。”老人们说。

“那是为什么?”妇人感到疑惑。

一个老人指着一个同伴说：“他名叫财富。”

指向另一个同伴说：“他叫成功，我是爱。”

他接着说：“你现在进去和丈夫商量，看你们家需要我们中哪一个。”

妇人把老人的话告诉丈夫。丈夫十分惊喜，

说：“既然如此，我们就邀请财富老人吧，让他进来，把我们的房子装满财富! ”

妻子不同意，说：“亲爱的，为什么不邀请成功呢?”

他们的儿媳妇在屋子的另一头听到这些话，建议道：“邀请爱进来不是更好吗?我们家将会充满爱。”

“我们接受儿媳的建议吧，” 丈夫对妻子说，“去吧爱请进来坐我们的客人吧。”

这位妇人走出门问3个老人：“你们之中哪位是爱?请进来做客。”

爱老人起身朝房子走去，另外两位也起身跟着走了进去。

这位妇人吃惊地问道：“我邀请的是爱，你们两位怎么也跟进来?”

老人们齐声答道：“如果你要请财富或者成功的话，

其余的两个人都会呆在外面的，但你邀请了爱，

无论他走到哪，我们就跟到哪。

哪里有爱，哪里就有财富与成功!”
