 The latest on Madonna’s custody 1 battle. She is thanking fans who support her through the public task over her ex for custody over their teenage son Rocco. Reena Ninan is here with the story. Hey, Reena. 

 
Kate and George, good morning. Teenagers are always saying that they know better than mom. And it’s just a matter of days a judge will weigh in. And Whether Madonna’s son Rocco can be forced to return back to the New York City, and Rocco even getting his own attorney.
 
Madonna may be the queen of pop and a material girl, but she’s also a proud mom.

Over the weekend the 57-year-old pop icon 2 leading the audience during her “Rebel Heart” show in Miami in a chorus of “Happy Birthday” for her 10-year-old daughter Mercy James.
 
“Fans usually think that Madonna the superstar and they think of a lot of controversial things, the things she’s probably thought of being a great mom.”
 
It’s been a triumphant 3 miller 4 for a mother of four. 
 
“I too go through challenging times in my life...right now is one of them.”
 
The star recently sharing a tearful moment with fans in a Mexico City show, seemingly about her custody target war with ex-husband Guy Ritchie over their 15-year-old son Rocco. 
 
“Rocco is tired to be on tour with his mother. You can imagine your kid and you’re sitting in some green room or some dressing 5 room back stage. It’s probably not a lot of fun.”
 
Rocco has reportedly missed school since visiting his father in the U.K. in December. A New York City judge ordered Richie to return their son to New York after Madonna reportedly appealed to the court in late December.
 
Over the weekend, the “Express Yourself” singer posting this picture of a letter she received from her fans, expressing their unconditional 6 support for the singer during her time of need, writing: “We are crying with you, but we know you will get through this as you always do.”
 
The singer captioned 7 the post: “Thanks soooooo much for this! It means a lot to me! One word of kindness it can save me!”
 
“And it really sent the message to fans that your support means a great deal for me, that I’m not in this alone, I have people on my side.”
 
Madonna trying to stay positive, posting this selfie saying she is “Moving Forward...nowhere else to go.”
 
And we reached out to Guy Ritchie but received no comment. The exes are now doing court in a New York courtroom on February 3rd. 
 
You know, I’ve got preschoolers, and I always say to myself: “God, please let me get through the diapers, and through sleeping through the night.” And I can do it with everything, but you forget how trying the teenagers.
