[00:04.86]A group of frogs were traveling through the woods,
[00:10.22]and two of them fell into a deep pit 1.
[00:14.04]When the other frogs saw how deep the pit was,
[00:18.00]they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead.
[00:22.15]The two frogs ignored the comments
[00:25.53]and tried to jump up out of the pit with all their might.
[00:29.79]The other frogs kept telling them to stop,
[00:33.09]that they were as good as dead.
[00:35.15]Finally, one of the frogs took heed
[00:39.09]of what the other frogs were saying and gave up.
[00:42.49]He fell down and died.
[00:44.89]The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could.
[00:50.35]Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled 2 at him
[00:53.98]to stop the pain and just die.
[00:56.16]He jumped even harder and finally made it out.
[01:00.96]When he got out, the other frogs said,
[01:03.93]"Did you not hear us?"
[01:06.21]The frog explained to them that he was a little deaf.
[01:10.25]He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.
[01:14.22]This story teaches us two lessons:
[01:17.27]1. There is power of life and death in the tongue.
[01:22.08]An encouraging word to someone
[01:24.60]who is down can lift them up
[01:26.67]and help them make it through the day.
[01:28.75]2. A destructive 3 word to someone
[01:32.36]who is down can be what it takes to kill them.
[01:35.55]Be careful of what you say.
[01:37.50]Speak life to those who cross your path.
[01:41.21]The power of words is sometimes hard to understand
[01:45.83]that an encouraging word can go such a long way.
[01:49.87]Anyone can speak words that tend to rob 4 another
[01:54.57]of the spirit to continue in difficult times.
[01:57.51]Special is the individual
