  该句主语较长，分为两部分，即The importance people attach to paid holidays （人们赋予带薪休假的重要性）和 the rapid development of services for mass entertainment and recreation （大众娱乐服务的快速发展）。people attach to paid holidays是定语从句修饰第一个主语importance。全句译为：“人们赋予带薪休假的重要性和大众娱乐服务的快速发展标志着人们对这一问题的日益关注。”
