黄金罗盘》是另一部雷声大雨点小的魔幻片，虽有最新版007跟妮可基德曼等华丽阵容，却难逃恶评后果。可惜称霸英国歌坛30年的歌坛巨星Kate Bush为之创作了这么一首独特的主题歌Lyra，也都没怎么走红，其实还是很赞的一个曲目。
