  To grab, "grab," means to take something, usually with your hand. 掰(grab),意思是拿着某物,一般是用手。
  To grab something with your hand means to pick it up—to take it with your hand. 用手掰某物意思是你抓着它——用手拿着它。
  "I grab a banana," which I like to eat, and "a slice of toast with jam." “我掰一根香蕉,”我喜欢吃它,以及“一片果酱吐司。”
  Toast, "toast," is bread that you put in something called a toaster, "toaster,"  吐司(toast),是你放进吐司机(toaster)里的面包,

  A slice of toast, "slice," is a piece of toast. 一片(slice)吐司,就是一块吐司。

  You can have a slice of cake; you can also have a slice of pie. 你可以有一块蛋糕;也可以有一块馅饼。

  We can use toast as a verb as well. “Toast”也可以用作动词。
