When we say a television show comes on, we mean that that is when it begins — that is when you can watch it. 当我们说“a television show comes on”，我们是指它的开始时间——也就是什么时候你可以看到它。
The national news can also be called a newscast, "newscast." 国内新闻也可以称为新闻广播（newscast）。
A newscast is a news program. 新闻广播是新闻节目。
You could have a local newscast, with just news about Los Angeles, for me, or a national newscast. 你可以看只与洛杉矶有关的地方新闻节目，或者看国内新闻节目。
Well, "During the newscast, I sort through the day's mail." 那个，“新闻播送期间，我整理了一下白天的邮件。”
To sort, "sort," through means that I am looking at today's mail “To sort through”的意思是我正在看今天的邮件，
