Indonesian doctors say it could take up to a fortnight to determine what killed the Queensland mother and daughter who died suddenly in Bali. Media reports say their families requested their bodies be returned to Australia for an autopsy 1. Forensic 2 doctors say initial examinations indicate the pair choked.
Indonesian authorities say the Australian navy forced an asylum 3-seeker boat back into Indonesian waters last month. The incident allegedly happened shortly before Christmas Island. But it's only now been, sorry, before Christmas...but it's only now been reported in local Indonesian media. Indonesia's government newswire Antara says police arrested 47 asylum seekers when their boat ran aground on Roat Island after running out of fuel.
Parts of the United States are getting ready for potentially record-breaking low temperatures. Cold,arctic air known as a polar vortex(涡旋，旋风）is bringing freezing weather to the mid-east. Police have charged a man over a fatal stabbing of a homeless man in central Melbourne. Forty-two-year-old Whim 6 Perry was stabbed in a park early on Sunday morning, but died later in hospital. Police have charged the 19-year-old man with his murder and he will face court later today.
