This year, a new minor 1 has been added to the choices at our university.The minor is called information technology and supported by 11 different departments ranging from art to computer engineering. The possibilities of this minor are endless.Because there are so many options to explore. And today's society is so inflowed with computers and new developments in technology.Even if your school doesn't have a minor that corresponds to the classes that I am taking,it would be a worthwhile daver to try to develop a program.Not only would you benefit from the information you learned but the rest students at your school would benefit also. There are four main objects of the minor. The first is to learn practical skills in computing,communications and networking or dot story of travel.The second is to understand the impact of information technology on the social communities. The third is to gain knowledge of how information technology can be used in the maginative ways. The fourth object is to learn applications of information technology. They contribute to the coming good. These four objects not only show that this program really teach us valuable information to the students but also demonstrate that this minor can be complimentary 2 to any major. I am a business student, the information technology minor is a great choice for me.Because I learn how to use the computer programs that I might be working with someday in my business and I understand how I can make my major marketing 3 more desirable.By using computers to design inputting 4 marketing skins I can significantly improve my chances of landing and excellent career of the college. The minor is also great for other majors such as art which makes use of the motivate designing tools and knowledge of world-wide web
