Hi, welcome to the June forth 1 addition of CNN student news, I am Carl Azuz. Thank you for watching our penalty program of the 2014,2015 two years.

We are starting today in Boston Massachusetts where law enforcement officials shot and killed the terrorism suspect earlier this week. They have been monitoring to Usaama Ranim for years. And an official says the FBI noticed he changed his behaviour recently that prompted authorities to approach him outside a drug store on Tuesday morning. Investigators 2 say Ranim was planning to randomly 3 kill police officers. The FBI says he does not think there are any concerns for public safety at this point. There has been another arrested in the case.
Today in every Massachusetts man in custody 4, police made the arrest last night in connection with the fatal shooting of a terror suspect in Boston by police Tuesday morning.
It all began around 7 in the morning when the FBI and Boston police just
sent him on this CBS aiming to question the suspect, 26 years old, USAAMA RANIM.
Yeah, we have a gentleman, black male, 6 feet, coming out with a knife...
Ranim had been under 24 hours surveillance by the joint 5 terrorism task force, radicalized according to one official by eyes and other extremist influence. The  FBI says Ranim leads threats against police on social media.
When officers approached him, Ranim launched them with this knife, authority say, before a federal agent and Boston police officer fired, hitting him in the torso and abdomen 6.
Ranim's brother in D paints a different pictures, saying on social media that his younger brother was on his cellphone with their father, waiting for the bus when he was confronted by police and shot in the back three times. He says his brother's last words were i can not breathe. The shooting is now under investigation 7 and Boston police said they have a video documenting the entire event.
We saw the video what appears that the law enforcement officers wear bagging way before they exercise deadly force...
Yesterday police showed community leader surveillance video of the shooting afterward 8 they said Ranim was not under phone when he was shot and that he was not shot in the back.
