Los Angeles International Airport 9:20 am local time, the FBI says Paul, the 23 year-old white male, enters terminal 3, pulls a rifle from his bag and opens fire. At the security check point, TSA officers who were not armed were shot. One was killed. He proceeded up into the screening area where TSA screenes are and continued shooting and went past the screeners and back into the airport itself. Authority say after shooting his way through the security check points, the gunman managed to make him all the way down this hallway. It was complete panic. People were screaming, you know, I saw children crying.
Here is another mayhem. I mean people are trapping over each other on thefloor, bags everywhere, crying, screaming.
Everybody was sort of like, flying down the hall way. It was just like jumpingover chairs, jumping over people, hiding and we were kind of trapped at the endof the terminal.
Trapped, with nowhere else to escape, some passengers run onto the airport tarmac. Others use anything they can to protect themselves.
Second shots went in, and I just grabbed the luggage and I saw him making walls and walls of luggages and I could see guy who was walking towards the escalator and he just pointed 1 them down.
After making hundreds of fleet into the terminal, the gunman is shot by the police multiple times in the chest and leaves.
Los Angles Airport police responded immediately to the calls and they trapped the individuals through the airport and engaged him in gunfire in terminal 3 and we were able to successfully take him into custody 2.
His motivate is still unclear, but what is known is the gunman intended tocause much more destruction. Sources say he has three magazines of ammunition 3 for his sort of rifle.
The story is still developing as investors 4 are gathering 5 physical evidence, questioning witnesses and bring, trying to get a picture of the alleged 6 killer 7 into sharper focus again. He is a 23-year old male, Paul, there is something what we are learning feed in by now, a familiar pattern lone 8 male, with a sort of rifle, possibly motivated by hatred 9 of federal government.
