The wind and the sun 风与太阳
One day, the wind and the sun were arguing about who was the strongest. "It is clear that I am the strongest," said the wind. "When I blow, branches 1 break off the trees, and the waves beat on the shore 2."
"That's nothing," said the sun. "I am much stronger than that." Just then, they saw a man wearing a heavy coat. "We will both try to make this man take off his coat," said the sun. "Whoever 3 succeeds will be the strongest."
The wind agreed to go first. He blew hard at the man, but it was no use. The man became cold and held onto his coat with both hands.
Then it was the sun's turn. He came out from behind a cloud and shone gently 4 down on the man. The man smiled and took off his coat to enjoy the warm sunshine.
"You see?" asked the sun. "Kindness 5 and gentleness are stronger than anything in the world."
有一天，风和太阳争论谁是最强大的。“很显然，我是最强的，”风说。“当我吹起来的时候，树枝会从树上剥落，海浪会冲击海岸。” “那不算什么，”太阳说。“我比那强多了”正在这时，他们看到一个穿着厚厚的外套的男人。“我们想办法让这个男人脱掉外套”太阳说道。“谁成功了，谁就是最强大的。” 风同意了，并且第一个出马。它使劲的吹那个男人，但是，一点用处都没有。男人觉得很冷，他用双手裹紧了外套。 现在轮到太阳了，他从一块云彩后面钻出来，开始温和的照向那个男人。男人笑了，他脱掉了外套，享受起温暖的阳光来。 “看到了吗？”太阳问道。“善良和温和是这个世界上最强大的东西”。 Take off 脱下TAKE OFF take off脱下衣物，鞋帽等You should take off your coat. It’s hot outside.你应该把外套脱掉，外面很热。那么，它的反义词，表示穿上衣物，鞋帽等则可以用put on PUT ON put on。Let me put on my shoes before we go.我们出门之前先让我穿好鞋吧。补充：Take off还可以指飞机起飞喔！Our plane will take off in ten minutes.我们的飞机再过十分钟就要起飞了。 Kindness and gentleness are stronger than anything in the world.善良与温和是这个世界上最强大的东西。
