1.  The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for a deadly suicide bombing on a peaceful protest in Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Saturday, killing 1 at least 81 people and wounding more than 200. The demonstration 2 was organized by Afghanistan's ethnic 3 Hazara community, a group of Shiite Muslims. 


2.  Residents in Munich, Germany paid tribute to the victims of Friday's shopping mall attack, laying flowers and lighting 4 candles as they mourned their loss. The gunman killed nine people and wounded more than two dozens, before killing himself. 


3. Hillary Clinton formerly 5 introduced senator Tim Kaine of Virginia as her pick for vice 6 president, as the two appeared side by side in Florida. Clinton called Kaine a 'progressive who likes to get things done'. Kaine acknowledged this are tough times for many in the country, but said Americans are tough people. 


4. As democrats 7 geared up for the democratic national convention in Philadelphia next week, protesters got a headstart, staking out outside the rules committee on Saturday. The convention officially begins on Monday.
