3 law enforcement officers who were shot and killed in the line of duty on July 17th were remembered during a vigil in Baton 3 Rouge 4. Among those attending, vice 5 president Joe Biden, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Lousiana governor John Bel Edwards.
According to the military, 5 US soldiers have been wounded in clashes with Islamic State fighters in eastern Afghanistan. The military says the casualities occurred over the last few days and none of the injuries were life-threatening.
About a dozen lions, tigers and other big cats are back home at Los Angeles sanctuary 6 days after they were evacuated 7 due to a fast-moving wildfire. Hundreds of wild animals were evacuated last weekend and more are due to come home over the next few days.
